    Clean City Transit
    Our Clean City Transit (CCT) plan aims to facilitate the electrification of urban transport systems by progressively introducing battery systems while minimizing disruption to urban infrastructure; first to city buses, then to taxis and finally to passenger cars. The CCT plan is a roadmap to electrify urban transport systems and establish the requisite infrastructure in an economical manner, while ensuring environmental, societal and air pollution reduction mandates.

    • Serving an important role in city transportation systems, city buses operate daily with fixed routes in downtown areas. Ultra-fast charging those buses in terminals during driver breaks and between shifts provides multiple charging opportunities throughout the day without impacting operations.

      Meanwhile, as the charging stations will be built along bus routes, the first layer of the charging network will form gradually as more and more e-bus routes are placed in operation.

    • City taxis share similar characteristics with city buses, as operators of both electric vehicles are focused on total cost of operation. Both forms of vehicles have largely fixed routes and round-the-clock availability with similar range requirements. Microvast MVPack? technology allows electric taxis to be fully recharged in 15 minutes with a 300 km range, fulfilling taxi operation requirements.

      The charging stations for e-taxi fleets will be located in urban centers, which form the second layer of charging network as more e-taxis come into operation.

    • Hours of waiting to fully charge deprives us of the mobility and is a waste of our valuable time. Ultra- fast charging reduces driver-range anxiety, and makes electric vehicles more practical. Utilizing the ultra-fast charging network of e-buses and e-taxis, e-passenger vehicles can also take advantage and help drive demand.

    • Charging infrastructure is the bottleneck for electric vehicle mass deployment. Ultra-fast charging provides a reasonable return on investment, thanks to its high efficiency. By combining public transit and taxi charging stations, the city-level charging network will continue to provide increasing value.
